Basic hotel and amazing views

Location and view is amazing. Beautiful sweeping views of mountains and right next to the monastery and nice restaurant. Near some great hikes in Rotushe and Yanche. The hotel itself is more like a very nice new and clean mountain hut style, very basic, nothing fancy, but if you have that expectation coming in, it’s perfect.

Exceptional

A fantastic place to stay in NP Mavrovo. Bigorski monastery is just next to it. A place is still not fully finished, but it did not disturb our stay. The restaurant is just a short walk down. Did a great walk from the neaby village Janče (there is a hotel with a good restaurant) to Galičnik (2.5 hr there and 1hr back), and when entering Galičnik there is another good place to get food and drinks. Views are stunning!

Excellent stay in the mountains beside the monastery.

Arrived by bike in need of rest and a place out of the rain. Excellent stay in the mountains beside the monastery. Friendly helpful staff. A beautiful modern oasis in a historic setting.

Amazing place to stay in Mavrovo

Incredible place to stay. The views are amazing has a fantastic feel to it. The guy on reception was great, went out his way to help us plan some hiking routes. The room was extremely comfortable and very clean (bear in mind they’re still doing some contruction so it is a little dusty but not badly so).
Right by one of the most famous monestarys in Macedonia, it was a real priviledge to be able to wonder over and explore.

Exceptional

A really magnificent building of traditional (Ottoman inspired) style, the room smells brand new. Overall it is very comfortable and quiet, i could imagine retreating there and being secluded for weeks. The breakfast offered for reasonable price is served in a similarly traditional tavern downhill.

The mansion seems very clean and new as it looks newly innovated. The amenity goods in the room are fully prepared. The breakfast served in the restaurant is really rich.

Amazing location

Amazing location, fantastic attentative staff ready to please. Adjoining a 1000 year old monastery, breakfast and meals were served in their equally beautiful restaurant.
Highly recommend.

Beautiful property and friendly service

Beautiful location in the Mavrovo valley. The guest mansion has good rooms and a nice balcony for enjoying the views and sunset. Easy access to Bigorski Monastery without the tour bus crowds during the day. Also recommend the walk to the waterfall.
